C.R.E.W. At SF Community School 2017

This summer, CREW partnered up with Excelsior Boy’s and Girl’s Club┬áto teach 30 K-3 learners coding and woodworking at SF Community Alternative School.

Computer Science:

These eager students learned the fundamentals of programming, what debugging entails, and how to think in logical steps, which in essence, is how robots think.

Woodworking:

These hardworking builders learned about proper safety procedures when dealing with craftsman tools, learned about what affects the integrity of structures(i.e. which shapes are the strongest), and built their own catapult.
